MORANDUM OF AGREEMENT RELATING TO THE INSURANCJ

OF PARCEL POST BETWEEN HONGKONG AND GANADA,

1.

Isopt in saass beyond control and in the close hereinafter provided for, indemnity shall be paid to the sender er at the sender's request to the addresses for the less, rifling or damage of insured parcels exchanged by the direct parcel post service between Hongkong and Canada while in the eusted; of the postal service not to exceed the setual loss suffered or the mount of insurance covered by the fee paid.

Each country shall be responsible for insurgé

parcels lost in its ownservice.

The limit of insurance value shall be 500 franes

The insurance fees shall be fixed by the country

of origin in respect to paresls despatched.

The country of origin shall allow the country of destination an insurance land aradit of 5 centines (gold).

The insurance number and the name of the office of origin of each parcel shall be entered en lists to acceap may

each parcel post despatch.

A certificate of posting, bearing thereon a receipt for the insurance fee, must be obtained by the person posting the

parcel.

Paresls containing any of the fellowing goods or

articles may not be accepted for insurancet-

Glass, ornekery, gramaphone records, semi-liquids, liquids, grease, bank notes, coin, bullion, geld dust, jewellery, bends, coupons or securities, precious stones or any articles of exceptionally fragile or perishable nature,

Ne parcel may be insured for an amount above the

real value of its contents.
